About this adventure

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame reopens after its expansion with a public celebration in Fort Worth's Cultural District. The Grand Cowgirl Parade fills the streets around the museum with horses, Western riding groups and floats, and it is free to watch anywhere along the route, with reserved seats also offered. At noon the expanded museum opens to the public, showing new galleries and exhibitions and the new Cowgirl Carousel as the museum starts its next 50 years. Children who love horses and rodeo will enjoy the parade, and the carousel is a new reason to visit the museum with kids. Members get a preview at 10 a.m. Streets close for the parade at 10:30 a.m.; public parking is in the Western Heritage Garage and the Yellow Lot, where the city charges a parking fee.
