About this adventure

Denver Botanic Gardens sets aside one evening of Blossoms of Light, its long-running holiday light festival at the York Street gardens, as a sensory-friendly night for guests with sensory sensitivities and their families. On Tuesday, December 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., the light and sound along the illuminated garden path are adjusted to subdue the strongest sensory features, and attendance is capped at a reduced capacity so the walk feels calmer and less crowded than a regular Blossoms night. The festival itself fills the winter gardens with LED light displays and immersive installations along a walking route. Tickets are needed for everyone over age 2 and are sold only through the Gardens' own ticket site; the Gardens recommends buying in advance to secure a date and entry time. The night is presented with support from Autism Colorado. Ticket prices had not been announced when this was checked.
