Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation's adaptive recreation dance goes Halloween with the Spooky Spectacular on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the city's Community Center, 40250 Dodge Park Rd. Part of the city's adaptive dance series, the evening offers a live DJ, dancing, socializing, a photo station and a themed activity in a welcoming, inclusive setting. The ticket includes two slices of pizza, a beverage and staff supervision throughout the event, and accompanying staff, parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. The dance is listed for ages 16 to 105, so it suits older teens as well as adults. Register through the city's online recreation system, which lists two fees ($11.00/$14.00); on October 21 the dance showed as available.
