About this adventure
The Detroit Historical Museum sits right on the route of America's Thanksgiving Parade, and on Thanksgiving morning it hosts a ticketed family viewing party. Ticket holders get bleacher seats along Woodward Avenue in front of the museum, a continental breakfast and refreshments, and the use of the museum's exhibits, store and restrooms before and after the marching bands and floats pass. The Society also promises family activities inside. Tickets include free off-site parking at the College for Creative Studies, a short walk away; a few premium spots in the museum lot cost extra.
