Macomb County Animal Control's Howl-O-Ween Trunk or Treat turns the Macomb County Public Works parking lot at 21777 Dunham Road in Clinton Township, next to Animal Control, into a Halloween party for dogs and their families on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m. Trunk-or-treat stations hand out goodies for both two-legged and four-legged guests, and the afternoon includes pet costume contests with prizes, a pup cup station, a spooky photo spot and RJ's Dog House Food Truck. The pet-friendly Nicholson Nature Center trail is steps away if you want to add a fall walk. Costumes are optional for dogs. Admission is free, but each dog must be registered in advance through the county's online form. Dogs must stay under control on a non-retractable leash, the event is for dogs only (leave other pets at home), and owners bringing several dogs are asked to bring an extra handler.

Two Macomb County pages describe the same event (same date, time, address, registration form). The county page's contact number is the general county line, so phone is blank.
