A seated indoor presentation at the Lake Erie Metropark Marshlands Museum that explains why bats, black cats, wolves, owls, ravens, spiders, pumpkins and skeletons became Halloween symbols. A naturalist separates myth from biology and traces the folklore and cultural traditions behind each 'creepy' character. Pitched at curious teens and adults, ages 12 and up, with children accompanied by a registered adult. Plan on two hours.
