About this adventure

Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation hosts Artemis Adventure with LEGO Bricks, a touring hands-on exhibition about NASA's Artemis missions, in The Gallery by General Motors through early January. Kids and parents step into the roles of astronauts, engineers and designers at interactive build stations: designing a solar-powered Moon base, racing LEGO rovers across rugged lunar terrain, building lunar landers and imagining Mars habitats, with a final zone where drawings come to life in interactive projections. Large LEGO sculptures anchor the gallery, including the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle, the Space Launch System and the International Space Station, and there is a full-scale Axiom spacesuit built from bricks for photos. The exhibition is designed for a wide range of ages and abilities and mixes open-ended play with short stories about real Artemis scientists and astronauts. It is free for members or included with museum admission, open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A good rainy-day or winter-break outing for LEGO fans from preschool through middle school.
