In this STEAM Curiosity session, kids ages 8 to 10 explore the world of toy design at Canton Public Library. Participants build their own kaleidoscopes and marble runs and learn the similarities and differences between the scientific method and the engineering design process as they develop their own ideas. Every young engineer goes home with the toys they made, to keep or give away at the start of the season of giving. It runs Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Community Room. Free, but registration is required (opens October 22, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.), a library card is required to register, and a waitlist is used because of high demand. Register the child who is attending.
