A story-driven outdoor mystery for children 7 to 12 at the Sterling Heights Nature Center: the forest's leaves have 'disappeared', and participants act as nature detectives, following trails, solving puzzles, matching colors and questioning forest 'suspects' to find them. Along the way they learn why leaves change color, how trees prepare for winter and what fallen leaves do for the forest. The 90-minute adventure ends with a leaf celebration. Dress for being outside.
