About this adventure
The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens' new Family Fall Fest closes its first Biergarten & Fall Fest weekend with a late-afternoon festival for families among the arboretum's trails and live oaks. Children can pick through a pumpkin patch, go trunk-or-treating, watch plein air artists paint and try hands-on nature activities, with food trucks and music for the grown-ups. Admission is a token $3, and JABG members get in free. Costumes fit right in for the trunk-or-treat. (The Saturday Biergarten is a separate, adults-focused ticketed event.)
