About this adventure
The 31st annual Festival of Lights 5K, a nighttime holiday race through San Marco that benefits Children's Miracle Network of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia (UF Health Jacksonville pediatrics and Wolfson Children's Hospital). Thousands of runners, walkers and strollers take part. A 1-mile fun run starts at 5 p.m. and the 5K at 5:30 p.m., both from Atlantic Blvd in front of Southside Baptist Church and finishing on San Marco Blvd; finishers get medals, and age-group awards start at 10 and under. Afterward, San Marco merchants host a free Holiday Magic evening until 8:30 p.m. Shuttle parking from the Baptist Medical Center P5 garage, 1104 Nira Street.
