Let's Build Club is a twice-monthly LEGO club at the George Owens Nature Park DeWitt Center for children ages 3 to 12. Each month has a new building theme, and kids work with a variety of LEGO sets and loose bricks to create their own models, which then stay on display inside the DeWitt Center for other visitors to see. Sessions are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Families can drop in for $2 or buy a year-long club membership: $15 for Independence residents or $30 for non-residents. Questions go to (816) 325-7115. Upcoming in-window sessions include October 21 and the first and third Wednesdays of November and December.
