Little Acorns is a nature program for preschoolers at Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center. Just before Thanksgiving, children ages 3 to 6 learn about the wild turkey through a story and a craft, and practise walking the walk and talking the talk of this interesting bird. The session runs 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 19. Registration is required; the age policy limits registrants to ages 3 to 6, and an adult should plan to accompany their child.
