About this adventure

Dana Point Harbor's annual holiday light display covers the harbor with more than 700,000 LED lights from mid-November into January. Themed light exhibits include a whale sculpture, the #happyharbordays sign, the harbor's VW bus and the Merry Kiss Me display, and in 2026 the lights span the new harbor entrance, the Island and Bump Out Park near Baby Beach. Several harbor holiday events happen during the run, including the Boat Parade of Lights (Dec. 11–13), Boat Rides with Santa (Dec. 5–6) and a holiday maker's market on Dec. 19, all listed in the harbor's holiday guide. The display is presented by Dana Point Harbor Partners; the event page lists the lights from 5 p.m. on the opening day.
