Free, informal stargazing evenings in the Camino parking lot behind the Children's Science Explorium. Staff set up a computerized 16-inch Meade LX200 and an 8-inch Celestron telescope and use stargazing apps to point out planets, the Moon and stars; the telescope stays out at least an hour after the 7 p.m. start. If clouds roll in, the program moves indoors to the community center's Maple Room for an inflatable-planetarium show. No registration is needed; children under 18 must come with a parent or guardian. Monthly Monday nights: November 16, December 14 and January 11.
