About this adventure

Greenacres kicks off the season with Holiday in the Park, a free Friday-evening festival at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park built around the city's Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Families can welcome Santa, take a turn on an ice-skating rink, ride carnival rides and play games, watch school performances and carolers, and stop at face painting, arts and crafts and festive vendors; food and refreshments are sold on site. Admission is free and the carnival rides are free for Greenacres residents who show proof of residency (driver's license or utility bill). The event runs rain or shine from 5 to 9 PM; vendors take cash and cards, and there is no ATM on site.
