About this adventure

Hollywood Ballet Academy stages The Nutcracker at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center over the weekend before Thanksgiving. The academy's young dancers perform Tchaikovsky's holiday ballet, from Drosselmeyer to the Snow Scene and the Land of Sweets, and the organizer bills the production as suitable for audiences of all ages. The ticket page lists multiple dates, giving the run as Friday, November 20 at 7 PM through Sunday, November 22, with the last showing ending at 8:30 PM; it does not list each showing separately. Tickets cost $30 to $40. Seniors 65 and older get 20 percent off Tier 3 tickets, sold only at the box office with valid ID, and all sales are final with no refunds or exchanges. The performing arts center is in Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, and its box office can be reached at (954) 777-2055.
