New Year's Eve at Nine is Christmas Wonderland's early family countdown on Thursday, Dec 31, so kids can ring in the New Year without missing bedtime. At 9 PM the park counts down on its giant LED screen and follows with a full fireworks show. Kids get a 'Confetti Storm' with free noisemakers and party favors, and a live DJ runs a dance party on the main stage. The countdown comes with regular admission, which includes unlimited rides and photo ops. The park at Tropical Park opens at 5 PM that Thursday and its posted Thursday hours run to 11 PM. Ages 3 and under get in free, and most rides have a 36-inch minimum height.
