About this adventure
Thanksgiving-break skating camp at the Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale for children aged 5 to 12, run on November 23, 24 and 25. Campers pick a track — Learn to Skate for beginners, Figure Skating for Aspire/Freeskate-level skaters, or Intro 2 Hockey — and get a daily lesson at their level alongside off-ice warm-ups, a snack, physical games or crafts, lunch, and on-ice free practice before a cool-down and check-out. Light, flexible layers and athletic shoes work best because campers move between the ice and the floor, and the camp may go outdoors. Each camper brings a compression or bicycle helmet, a jacket, socks and gloves, food and drinks for the day and a change of clothes. Aftercare and lunch can be bought separately.
