About this adventure
The final week of China Lights Wisconsin at Boerner Botanical Gardens: more than 40 handcrafted, larger-than-life lantern displays on the theme 'Legends Come Alive', from ancient Chinese tradition to enchanted oceans and fantasy realms. Live Asian folk art and acrobatics are staged nightly at 6:15, 7:30 and 8:45 p.m.; there is an expanded interactive playground and interactive displays to pose with, and a free audio tour on your phone tells the stories behind the lanterns. Two food courts sell East-West snacks and meals. Open Tuesday to Sunday evenings through November 1; billed as family-friendly for all ages.
