About this adventure

Santa's Dash Away 5K & Family Fun Run is a chip-timed, holiday-themed run through historic downtown Cedarburg that the organizers describe as a fun run for all ages. It starts and finishes at the Cedarburg Community Gym on Washington Avenue, so families can run or walk the route past the decorated stone storefronts together, and costumes are part of the fun. Runners who register in advance get a themed race packet with a T-shirt and costume accessories. It suits families with school-age kids who can manage three miles at their own pace, or parents pushing a stroller; very young children may prefer to cheer. All proceeds fund the Cedarburg Christmas Committee, which coordinates Santa's Cedarburg Workshop each holiday season. Registration is online and closes December 10 at 11:59 p.m., with a limited number of spots. The Cedarburg Christmas page is presented by the Christmas Committee, Festivals of Cedarburg and Cedarburg Parks & Recreation.
