About this adventure

The Tannenbaum Trail is a holiday display of decorated Christmas trees set up along the paths of Firemen's Park in Germantown by the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce. Local businesses, scout packs, schools, churches, clubs and families each decorate a tree, and the trees are lit through the whole holiday season. The chamber invites visitors to come by during the day to look at the creativity up close and return after dark to see the lights. Because it is a self-guided stroll at your own pace, it fits easily into a short winter walk with toddlers in a stroller or school-age children who like to pick a favorite tree, and it can be paired with a visit to the park's official Christmas tree, lit at the Christmas Festival on November 14. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight for the paths after dark. The chamber's page lists no admission charge and no tickets.
