About this adventure

The Town of Brookfield kicks off the holiday season with a two-hour tree lighting in the Market Square at The Corners of Brookfield shopping center, presented by Aspire Dance Center and Landmark Credit Union. Families get complimentary hot cocoa and sweet treats, holiday crafts for kids, live music from carolers and the band Ocean Rush, and a meet-and-greet with the Frost Queen and Snow Princess, a hit with preschool and early-elementary fans of winter princesses. Make-A-Wish Wisconsin will be on hand, and families are invited to bring a new toy to donate. The evening ends with the tree lighting ceremony with Santa, followed by a drone show over the square. No registration is needed. The event is outdoors in late November, so dress children warmly; the 4 to 6 p.m. time slot lets younger children see the lights come on and still get home for dinner.
