About this adventure

South Milwaukee Recreation Department runs a Winter Break Fun Camp for boys and girls ages 4 to 12 on the weekdays of winter break when school is out, held in the gym at Rawson School. Each full day mixes arts and crafts, small- and large-group games and athletics under recreation department staff, which makes it a practical option for working parents covering the days between Christmas and New Year's. Camp runs from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on four days: December 23, 28, 29 and 30. There is no camp on December 24, 25 or 31 or on January 1. Children bring a bag lunch, a drink and a snack each day. Enter the building through Door #4. Registration is through the department's online system under activity code WB201.201, and the fee is $80 for South Milwaukee residents and $90 for non-residents. Families with questions about how the program works, or who have a first-time camper, can call the camp coordinator listed on the page.
