About this adventure

Downtown Victoria's free Halloween afternoon on Saturday, October 31, 2026 is put on by the Victoria Lions Club, the Victoria Business Association and the City of Victoria. It starts with trick-or-treating at participating businesses in the downtown business district from 1 to 2 p.m., where shops hand out treats to all ages. From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. the party moves to Bayfront Park on Stieger Lake for games and activities run by the Lions Club: kids can climb aboard and explore a Victoria Fire Department fire truck, carve a pumpkin with Scout Troop/Pack 589, walk the Trick or Treat Trail and pose for photos at Haystack Haven, while the city hands out fall composting tips. Costumes are welcome. If the weather is bad, the games and activities move indoors to the Victoria Lions Pavilion at 1505 82nd St. It is an easy daytime alternative to evening trick-or-treating for families with young children.
