About this adventure
A shortened version of Twin Cities Ballet's full-length "A Minnesota Nutcracker," made to introduce children to the ballet. It runs less than an hour, keeps Tchaikovsky's score, and is danced by cast members from the company's full production. The Lakeville Area Arts Center presents it as suitable for all ages and meant to hold the attention of even the youngest theatregoers, which makes it a gentler first ballet than a two-hour evening show. There are three performances over two days in the arts center's theater. Tickets are sold through the city's online ticketing (WebTrac) or by phone, with main-floor and balcony prices.
