About this adventure

December's First Friday in downtown Columbia is billed as the Merry Maker's Market. Like the other First Fridays, it is a family street event on the West 7th block and half the Public Square, with live music, food trucks, local vendors, shops open late, and a mini cruise-in. Columbia Main Street Corporation produces it with the City of Columbia and uses vendor fees to support the nonprofit. Families walking the market are not given a published admission price on this page. Downtown parking is described at lots on 6th Street, Woodland, and 8th Street, plus street spaces.
