About this adventure

Columbia Main Street's November First Friday is the holiday kickoff and tree lighting in downtown Columbia. The monthly street party closes the West 7th block and half the Public Square to vehicles so vendors, food trucks, and a mini cruise-in can set up. Shops stay open late, and the corporation describes the night as family-friendly, with live music alongside the downtown boutiques and restaurants. Columbia Main Street Corporation runs it with the City of Columbia. A vendor fee is published for people who sell; the page does not print a charge for families who come to watch the lighting and walk the block. Three downtown parking lots are described as free.
