Stew Leonard's Clifton store starts its holiday season with a Christmas Tree Lighting celebration on Thursday, December 3, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Santa and the store's costumed characters spend the evening taking free photos with families, and complimentary hot cocoa and cookies are served. No ticket or registration is mentioned in the store's announcement. The Clifton store also offers free weekend photos with Santa from late November until just before Christmas, so families who miss the lighting can still visit Santa another day. The release lists the date as both 'Friday' and 'Thursday', but December 3, 2026 is a Thursday.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read via Cloudflare Browser Run on 2026-10-21 (the page blocks plain curl); Browser Run renders in UTC, so recheck times printed relative to 'today'. The release text reads 'on Friday, Thursday, December 3, 2026'; Dec 3, 2026 is a Thursday, matching the headline. Organizer described availability as "confirmed".
