The Newark Museum of Art's December family drop-in studio takes cultural heritage as its theme, inviting families to share the stories, traditions and customs passed down through generations. On Saturdays, families design a family flag or banner together, and on Sundays they make a special wooden ornament to take home. Drop in any time from 1 to 4 pm on December 5, 6, 13, 19 and 20. The studio is free with general admission tickets.
