About this adventure

A weekly hands-on art class for teens led by two elementary school art teachers. Each session brings a new medium, technique or challenge, from sculpture, clay and papier-mâché to printmaking, painting and drawing. Projects can include gel plate prints, lino cuts, perspective drawing, portraits, collage, graffiti art and character design, some inspired by artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh and Banksy. Longer projects let students develop ideas over time, including sketchbook work and a group mural for Downtown Toms River. Open to all levels, and beginners are welcome.
