Hilltop Hanover Farm hosts an afternoon about Yule and the winter solstice, explaining how the solstice and the farming calendar shaped this midwinter celebration. Visitors try old and new seasonal traditions, with snacks, activities and crafts set out across the two hours (noon to 2 pm on Saturday, December 19). The farm describes it as an inclusive celebration, and the hands-on crafts make it suitable for families with children. There is a $5 suggested donation per person. Pre-registration is available through the farm's Eventbrite link but is not required, so drop-in families are welcome.
