About this adventure

At the Southern Oaks Library's Kids' Holiday Shoppe, children shop for the family on their own. With help from library staff and volunteers, each child chooses two small gifts for family members, keeping the surprise from parents and giving kids the experience of picking out presents themselves. It is aimed at preschoolers and school-age children (the library lists Birth–PreK and Kids). Spots are limited and booked by time slot. Parents must sign their child up with a staff member, either by calling (405) 631-4468 ext. 3 or at the library's Information Desk. Signups begin November 2, and the child must be present. There are two sessions on the same Tuesday, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.
