About this adventure

Blazers Ice Centre runs Learn to Skate USA year-round, the national beginner curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey and US Speedskating, taught by certified coaches. Classes run in 5-week sessions and students attend one or two classes a week. Tuesday and Saturday classes are split by level: the Advanced class (Basic 5-6, Aspire levels, Hockey 3-4, Adult 4-6) skates first, then the Beginner class (Snowplow Sam, Basic 1-4, Hockey 1-2, Adult 1-3). A mid-day all-levels class on Thursdays suits homeschool families, and homeschool session fees can be billed through Epic Charter Schools. Students may stay free for the public skate session right after their class to practice. Registration needs an EZFacility account; enroll on or before the first class of a session. Remaining 2026 dates: Session 8 (Tue/Sat) Oct 24, 27, 31, Nov 3, 7; Session 9 (Tue/Sat) Nov 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, Dec 1, 5, 8, 12, 15; Thursday Session 9 Oct 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, Dec 3.
