About this adventure

The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden at Adventure District is a large accredited zoo with walk-through habitats, aviaries (the Dan Moran Aviary, Oklahoma Trails Aviary and a lorikeet exhibit), caretaker chats and wild encounters listed on its interactive map and daily schedule. Families may bring coolers with outside food and drink (no glass, plastic lids or straws, or balloons). Double strollers and wagons can be rented at the Strollers window in the entry plaza for $14. Wheeled shoes, scooters, bikes and sports equipment are not allowed. Discounted $10 admission is offered with Oklahoma EBT/SNAP/WIC, military, Oklahoma Fosters and Big Brothers Big Sisters ID (for the cardholder and up to three guests). The Read for Adventure program gives four free admission tickets for checking out a listed book from participating libraries.
