About this adventure
SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology in south Oklahoma City displays hundreds of real animal skeletons in more than 40 exhibits, from prehistoric giants and rare specimens to modern anatomical wonders, with displays built around adaptation, conservation and how bodies work. Children can follow gallery scavenger hunts, and the museum's resident cat, Sir Indiana Bones, is a favourite to spot. Guided tours, Home & Charter School Days and a Scouts mammal-badge program are offered for groups. The museum also stays open late on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, from 5 to 9 pm, for $10 per person plus tax with family-friendly costumes welcome.
