About this adventure

Bucks County Playhouse stages Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, the Broadway musical based on the Universal film, for its holiday season in New Hope. The story follows song-and-dance man Jim, who leaves show business for a Connecticut farmhouse that becomes an inn open only on holidays, and it is packed with Berlin standards and big tap and ensemble dance numbers. The show runs about two and a half hours with an intermission. The Playhouse recommends it for ages 8 and up, and children under 4 are not admitted, so it suits older children, tweens and teens who can sit through a full-length musical. An ASL-interpreted performance is scheduled for December 13 at 1:30 pm. Tickets are sold through the Playhouse box office; groups of 10 or more can book through the sales manager.
