Adaptive ice skating at the Dilworth Park rink beside City Hall. Children and adults with physical or developmental disabilities can reserve an ice sled and glide on the rink during regular public sessions, so a child who cannot stand on skates can still join family and friends on the ice. Admission and the sled are free for the person using it, and one accompanying adult also gets free admission and skate rental; other members of the group pay regular admission ($7 kids 10 and under, $10 ages 11 and up) and rental. Sleds are limited and must be reserved by email in advance. Sessions are 90 minutes; arrive about 15 minutes early to check in.
