Organizer
Flight On Ice (Flight Entertainment)

A seasonal outdoor rink of real ice on West Chester Pike (Route 3) in Newtown Square, Delaware County, run by Flight On Ice beside the Delaware County Veterans Memorial. Families skate to DJ music under lights and a giant LED screen, then warm up at fire pits or in heated party tents; there is a kids' zone (the One Stop Party Shop Kids Zone) and a food and drink stand. Parking on site is free. Skate dates are booked online through the rink's ticket page, and every skater should sign the online waiver before arriving. Because it is an outdoor rink, skating depends on the weather: rain closes the ice more often than snow, so check the rink's calendar before heading out. Part of the proceeds goes to the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association. Groups of 15 or more skaters can book a group party.
