The 13th annual Wenonah Turkey Trot benefits the Children's Home Society of New Jersey and runs on the tree-lined roads of historic Wenonah from the Memorial Presbyterian Church on East Mantua Avenue. There is a chip-timed, USATF-certified 5K and an untimed fun run/walk of about a mile, both starting at 9 am after registration opens at 8. The organizers call it a family event where children, dogs and wheelchairs are all welcome. Kids 10 and under run free (a T-shirt is $10 extra); other entrants pay $35 early or $40 from November 14, and families of 3 to 8 can register together for $75 early or $80. Canned food can be left at the church's donation door for Nahida's Pantry. The registration lists the race for Friday, November 27, while the text says online registration ends on Thanksgiving eve, so confirm the day.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read via RunSignup's public race API (races within 30 miles of 19103, 2026-11-27 to 2027-01-18, with events and registration periods), which carries the organizer's race page text; fees are the period current on 2026-10-20 and exclude processing fees. Event start times are set to 11/27/2026 (a Friday), but the text says online registration ends 'at midnight on Thanksgiving eve', which fits a Thanksgiving Day (11/26) race; 11/27 was Thanksgiving in 2025.
