About this adventure

Cardinal John Foley School in Havertown holds its 20th annual Turkey Trot on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with a timed 5K run through the Brookline neighborhood and a 1.2-mile Family Fun Walk that starts right after the runners. The walk is the easy option for families with younger children and strollers, while older kids and parents can take on the two-loop 5K course. Bib pickup and race-day registration are in the Annunciation BVM Church Hall off Wexford Road, where participants can also use the restrooms and leave their gear. Shirts are guaranteed only to people who register by November 15 and arrive before 8:45 am, and awards are handed out right after the race. A short Tiny Trot dash before the 5K is reserved for a limited number of the school's own preschool, pre-K and kindergarten students, and the student 5K category is only for Cardinal Foley students.
