About this adventure

The Medford Lakes Colony David Nimmer Annual 5K Turkey Trot reaches its 53rd year on Thanksgiving morning, starting at 8:30 am on a USATF-certified course through the Borough of Medford Lakes with mile markers and chip timing. Entry is $15 for ages 17 and under and $25 for adults, and awards go three deep in age groups that start at 10 and under, so school-age runners have their own category. Net proceeds go to a charitable trust that builds ADA-compliant access to borough buildings, beaches and pavilions. Runners who pre-register by November 12 are guaranteed a festive T-shirt in their size. Bibs can be picked up inside Vaughan Hall on Wednesday, November 25 from noon to 4:30 pm or on race morning from 7 to 8 am, and the Medford Lakes Lions Food Bank collects non-perishable food in donation boxes at both pickups.
