About this adventure

Moorestown's Thanksgiving-morning trot is a low-key run around the Moorestown High School cross-country course, with no timing but, in the organizers' words, plenty of friends and fun, plus free snacks and drinks. Families can choose the in-person One Mile Fun Run/Walk, which starts at 9 am, or the 5K at 9:30 am, and each costs $10. Because there is no clock and the course stays on the school's cross-country loop, it suits children trying their first race, relatives who would rather walk, and anyone who wants a short outing before the holiday meal. Registration on RunSignUp opens November 19 and runs through race day, so it also works for families who decide late in the week.
