About this adventure
CREATE, the makerspace at Arizona Science Center, opens on a Saturday evening for a family art night built around upcycling: each guest gets a canvas — often a thrift-store or cast-off painting — and full use of shared paints, collage and craft materials to turn it into something new and seasonal. There are no rules about skill, which is the point of the 'bad art' name, so it works for elementary kids and teens alongside parents. Tickets are sold as family tickets covering up to 10 guests; extra canvases may be bought while supplies last. Runs 5:00 to 8:00 pm, so families can drop in for part of the evening.
