About this adventure

To close out the year, El Mirage Library's Crafternoon Club for Kids hands over its leftover craft supplies, odds and ends for an open-ended Ugly Art Afternoon. There is no project to copy: children ages 5 to 12 dig through the scraps and build whatever they imagine, and the library supplies all the materials. It is a good fit for kids who like free-form making more than step-by-step crafts, and nobody has to worry about getting it 'right'. The program lasts an hour in the library's event room on a Saturday afternoon. Registration is required and opens on November 20, 2026.
