To mark ten years of Dav Pilkey's Dog Man books, Hamilton Library in south Chandler runs an all-day self-guided scavenger hunt. Kids pick up a checklist, search the library floor for all the hidden items, tick them off and turn in the completed card for a prize while supplies last. Early readers can do it with a grown-up's help, and families can stop by any time between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. that Tuesday. A good excuse to check out the latest Dog Man book on the way out.
