Downtown Tempe's free holiday tradition on Tempe Town Lake. From 4 to 9 PM at Tempe Beach Park, families can shop a holiday market of local vendors, watch live entertainment, write letters to Santa and take a photo with him, and pick up snacks and drinks from food trucks while waiting for the main event: a parade of boats decorated with holiday lights, inflatable characters and creative themes cruising across the lake. The evening ends with a fireworks show over the water. All guests must follow the event's clear bag policy, and the organizers publish parking, light-rail and road-closure guidance on the event page; arriving early helps with lakeside viewing spots. Free admission; food, drinks and market purchases cost extra.
