Glendale Glitters, now in its 33rd year, returns to Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale. The season opens with the official lighting ceremony on Friday, November 27 at 5:45 p.m., followed by a two-night Kickoff Event on November 27 and 28 from 5 to 10 p.m. with light displays, interactive attractions, holiday photo spots, local vendors, seasonal treats, live entertainment, carolers and visits with Santa. After the kickoff the lights stay on nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. through January 1, so families can return for a quieter evening stroll through the downtown streets, shops and restaurants. It suits all ages; strollers work well on the park paths. No admission fee is mentioned on the city page.
