Scottsdale Children's Business Fair at Desert Ridge

About this adventure

Kids become entrepreneurs for a day at this Children's Business Fair, held on The District at Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix. Young business owners run their own booths, selling handmade items, crafts, games and other products they have designed and made themselves, and practice talking to customers, pricing and handling money. Shoppers of all ages stroll the booths and buy from the kid-run businesses, which makes it a good outing for families with school-age children who might want to try selling something themselves next time; vendor applications go through the fair organization's Scottsdale page. Free to browse; bring small bills for purchases.
