Two nights before Halloween, Miss Rachel tells spine-tingling stories in the library courtyard after dark. Children in first grade and up are invited to bring a flashlight and come in costume. Registration is required, one per family. If it rains, the program moves indoors to Room A. It runs from 7 to 8 pm on the Thursday before Halloween, making it a gentle warm-up for older kids who enjoy a mild scare.
